Overview
On standard evaluation political, economical and consequently other chan-ges in the lifestyle in the Czech Republic so far do not show significantchanges in the frequency of mental disorders. We can assume that stress andpressure factors that accompany such changes will have a delayed effect. The short period of such significant social changes, their slow and undrama-tical nature cannot yet show fully the effect of economic transformation onthe mental health of the general population.Generally, we can speculate, that political changes have a less apparentstressing effect so far than economic changes.
Key words:
mental health, social changes, economic transformation, systemsof mental disorders.
