Czech and Slovak Psychiatry - About the journal

The journal contains original papers focused on theoretical and practical psychiatry.

The journal publishes studies focusing on psychology, psychiatric sexuology, psychosomatic medicine and borderline fields, applied and theoretical psychotherapy, clinical and experimental psychopharmacology, including the receptor functions and neurotransmitter systems, the history of psychiatry and interesting case studies.

Furthermore, it publishes information from conferences, symposia and conventions with psychiatric topics, reviews of publications and articles in the field.

The journal publishes announcements on important international conferences and national conferences and other events and notices of important anniversaries.

Until 2009 the journal was issued by the Czech Medical Society of J.E. Purkyně; since 2010 it has been issued by the publisher Galén.
