Degree of dependence from different aspects – age structure, financial expenses, number of assessments

Overview
The paper deals with the issue of assessing the degree of dependence from a different perspective. In the introduction, a long-term unfavorable health condition is defined. The legislative framework for assessing the degree of dependence is described, taking into account two age categories up to 18 years and over 18 years using different assessment criteria. The second part deals with the age structure of the applicants and assessed, the communication also contains a comparison of the number of recipients of benefits in clear tables and the important financial impact of the benefits paid cannot be omitted, this article also deals with this aspect. In conclusion, the author draws attention to the necessity of this benefit and, at the same time, to the need for rigorous control of the use of the contribution and the control of the care performed.
