Overview
The objective of the article is to inform expert evaluation physicians as well as revision physicians about the new provision of regression compensation in health insurance, which became effective in January 1, 2010. This new institution of regression compensation basically follows a similar determination in the Public Health Insurance Act, which declares that if the injury or disease was caused by a third person, the health insurance company is authorized to claim the cost connected with provision of the health care to the person who caused the damage. A similar meaning in the heal insurance lies in the fact that, if there is a temporary working disability or provision of health care, the health insurance company is obliged to claim the regression reimbursement fro the persons who caused the injury.
