Overview
This case report demonstrates the complicated management of detrusor hyperactivity in a young male with bladder outlet obstruction. After transurethral resection of the prostate and treatment using different antimuscarinics in monotherapy or in combination failed to relieve the symptoms of overactive bladder, improvement occured with a new antimuscarinic with a different type of metabolism.
