Overview
The authors describe a clinical case of a 52-year old patient with a surgically treated andhistologically verified apocrine hidrocystoma of many-year duration localized on the forehead. Asideof a detailed clinical and histological description of this rare benign cystic tumour of the sweatglands, they also mention an eccrine hidrocystoma similar from the point of view of differentialdiagnosis, likewise classified among sweat gland cysts, and point to the possible clinical similarityof the apocrine hidrocystoma to a basalioma, an epidermal cyst, as well as to the blue nevus.
