Overview
Very often we hear the statement :
„It is necessary to respect limitations in patients with vertebral pathology“. However, this statement is not further explained in the literature. Therefore, the physician undertaking the occupational health care (formerly an entreprise preventive care) has no other choice but focus on risk factors related to the development of these vertebropathies and consequently formulate the limitations in the patient. This is an individual assessment focusing not only on risk factors leading to the development of back pain (constitutional, anatomical, psychosocial factors) but also factors of the working environment.
Key words:
vertebropathy, occupational health care, risk factors
