The authors analyze the problem of dental treatment of patients with diseasesof the oesophagus, stomach and bowels. They draw attention to the main risks, changes in theoral cavity and entire orofacial area, the contribution of these changes to the diagnosis of thebasic disease. They also mention possible contraindications of drugs and some modifications ofcurrent dental treatment.
