Overview
Medical and psychiatric care is frequently irrationally and excessively misused by the patients. Abuser of psychiatric care could be defined as a person who consumes this care rationally, intentionally and consciously, pretending a mental disorder. These patients are usually middle aged men, who are reported from crisis centers, diagnosed as posttraumatic stress disorder or adjustment disorder. Early revealing of these persons is very important. Obtaining of objective data from families or other patients and cooperation with other medical facilities is necessary. This article presents four case reports describing such patients.
