The authors submit a comparison of demographic factors, which influenceattitudes of the population to homosexuality, based on a representative sur-vey of the Czech population comprising 1719 respondents.Consistent with data published by authors abroad, they confirmed that gen-der, education, age and religiosity of the respondents discriminate markedlytheir attitudes to homosexuality. To a lesser extent they found differencesconditioned by the size of domicile. Women, people with higher education,younger respondents and atheists have more liberal attitudes than men, pe-ople with elementary education, older and religious people.
