Overview

Study of diaphragmatic function in the context of breath and kinetic stereotypes is the goal of many research ideas of a lot of clinical and experimental work-placements through many years. From their work is known that hemidiaphragmatic paresis does not significently change quite breathing excursion. There is a change of breathing stereotype in the timing of individual basic and auxiliary respiratory muscles and their overloading. By these changes there is influence to postural activity and postural attitude. In this article we would like to give short introduction to problematic of diaphragmatic paresis and its influence to movement apparatus.

Key words:
diaphragm, breathing, paresis
