Summary of patients hospitalized on theMONADA clinic in the years 1996 – 1998 and in the year 2001

The study summarizes data from the years 1996, 1997, first quarter of 1997 (first period) and fromthe year 2001 (second period). The paper outlines the spectrum of the MONADA clinic patients.Wehave evaluated 1471 patients from the first period and 330 patients from the year 2001. We havetaken into account reasons for hospitalization and age and we have rated the proportion of patientshospitalized for the first time and patients hospitalized repeatedly. The study shows, that the mostcommon reason for hospitalization in MONADA clinic in the listed periods was the diagnosis of Lowback pain; two thirds of the patients were females. The most common age group for both genderswas 41 – 50 years.
