Individual perception of poverty by senior citizens

Overview
The degree of poverty is given by average annual income per inhibitor and price level of common goods, but the sensing may individually differ in relation to individual´s personal conditions and resources. The study intended to evaluate financial situation of the Czech seniors, the proportion of those who occur at or below the level of poverty and to characterize their attitude to this aspect. The main intention was to determined a total share of seniors in the Czech Republic, endangered by poverty associated with implication of programs of their rehabilitation. The study was based, in particular, on national professional literature, dealing with these problems and on secondary data resources which include manly the national statistical data, which subsequently enabled the field study directed to the determination the individual sensing of poverty in specific individuals.
