Overview
Clinical nutrition is at present age a part of standard patient care. Its use is not limited to critically ill people, but it plays a crucial role in chronically ill patients, oncologic patients and elderly patients as well. Even though the use of clinical nutrition is on the rise, protein malnutrition is still a relevant problem. One of the possible causes for the lowered response to the provided clinical nutrition is the so called anabolic resistance.
