in Patients down with Migraine without AurasThe authors evaluated the effectivity of treatment of single migrainous attacks with zolmitriptan.The cohort of patients was comprised of 20 patients with common migraine, suffering frommedium or serious attacks predominantly with a frequency of 1-2 times per month, who werenot treated by prophylaxis, suffering no other disease. The patients were chosen from a totalnumber of 206 migraine patients from a headache center. The age of the patients ranged from18 to 50 years, average age was 33.1 years. There were 18 females and 2 males. Zolmitriptanwas evaluated as effective, well tolerated with maximally 10% of recurrent headache, whichhad to be treated with repeated drug doses.
