In the approach to overweight patients we can adhere to the classical interaction pattern dominance-submission. The results of thus conceived treatment do not satisfy doctors very much. The author offers for psychological problems in the treatment of overweight patients the approach of transaction analysis which gives doctors of these patients more satisfaction.
