Self‑mutilation of the urogenital tract – is the solution limited to urologists?

Overview
The case of a sixty-year-old man with a disorder of sexual preference and with a tendency to muti‑late himself by inserting absurd foreign objects into the urogenital tract. His practices led to damage of his urethra and external genitalia to such an extent that it was necessary to extract one foreigen body from the left corpus cavernosum under general anesthesia.
