Overview
In this article we present a patient with bilateral adrenal metastasis of renal carcinoma who under‑went simultaneuos bilateral laparoscopic adrenalectomy after left radical laparoscopic nephrectomy.
Simultaneous bilaterat adrenal metastasis of renal cell carcinoma are very rare. In this article, we present a case of a 64 years old male who underwent left radical nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma. After 2 years CT scan revealed a suspected malignant mass in both adrenal glands. The patient then underwent simultaneous bilateral laparo‑scopic adrenalectomy. Histopathologic assesment revealed renal cell carcinoma metastasis in both adrenal glands. The operation was without com‑plication, the patient was discharged after 5 days, in good condition with corticosteroid substitution. Bilateral laparoscopic adrenalectomy seems to be a feasible and safe procedure in this indication.
