Rare life‑threatening bleeding due to spontaneous rupture of extraadrenal pheochromocytoma

Overview
We present a case report of rare life-threatening bleeding due to spontaneous rupture of an extraadrenal pheochromocytoma – paraganglioma. A thirty eight year-old patient with developing hemorhagic shock underwent emergency surgery due to lifethreatening spontaneous retroperitoneal bleeding with surprising finding – histologically verified extraadrenal pheochromocytoma.
