Professor Jan Jesenský is considered the founder of Czech modern stomatology.His daughter Milena, a journalist, known in the literary world as a friend and addressee of thepublished collection of Franz Kafka’s letters presented in her essay a testimony of his personalcourage. She gives an account of an actual event when her father during shooting of the Austrianpolice demonstrants bravely provided medical aid to a casualty.
