Overview
Depression in patients with cardiovascular disease. The paper describes the epidemiology of and further links between the occurrence of depression and cardiovascular disease. Direct links between the two diseases in both the psychic and biological sphere are pointed out. The second part of the paper describes anti-depression therapy and focuses on the characteristics, advantages and possible risks of the different groups of anti-depression drugs.
