Overview
The paper is focused on the curiosities from the history of the transportation of wounded and ill people. The first use of the term ambulance. It gives an insight into the development of the transportation from ambulance coaches to cars and trams. It also deals with uniforms of health care transport staff and the beginnings of the Rescue Service in Bohemia.
