Overview
The scar is a secondary tissue substituting the original defect. In case of non-optimal care there are useless functional and anatomic limitations, which may cause pain, but also decreased quality of life. It is essential to treat the wound or scar in an acute phase, which sets the whole therapeutic procedure and minimalizes secondary anatomic lesions. A new approach in therapy is a combination of soft techniques and the use of the magnetic spring. Efficiency of the method is supported by the fact that it is fully covered by medical insurance in Austria.
