Overview
By means of Moire method, barographic examination, and EMG examination the response of axialsystem on artificially evoked types of sitting positions was investigated in the complex of 23 students. There were chosen three types of sitting positions (incorrected sitting position without the use ofaids, sitting position on a sitting wedge, and sitting on an unstable surface – overball). The time ofmeasuring for each type of the sitting position were 2 minutes. Results showed the key position ofpelvis. Abdominal muscles were the most activated in position on the ball. Spread of the pressureson sitting tubercles was lowered on the sitting wedge.
