Overview

International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) had been ratified in 2001 at the 54th World Health Assembly of WHO and it was recommended to international use. The member states of EU accepted ICF as basic philosophy and policy of rehabilitation of people with disabilities and applied ICF to the health system, social security system, system of long-term support and services, health and social insurance system, employment of people with disabilities and education of children and teenagers with special needs.
