Overview

Bariatrická chirurgia je jedinou dokázanou účinnou dlhodobou liečbou na redukciu telesnej hmotnosti pri ťažkej obezite a s ňou súvisiacich komorbiditách. Mimoriadne dôležitou pre pre dosiahnutie dlhodobého úspechu, ale aj pre prevenciu možných vážnych klinických udalostí je celková interdisciplinárna podpora po bariatrickom chirurgickom zákroku. Autori v práci prezentujú algoritmy zamerané na sledovanie pacientov po bariatrickej chirurgii, načasovanie, progresiu jedla, zloženie stravy, ako aj príslušné klinické, laboratórne a nutričné kontroly spojené s konkrétnymi bariatrickými postupmi. Sumarizujú odporúčané dávky bielkovín, suplementáciu mikronutrientov po operáciách obmedzujúcich absorpciu živín, kapacitu žalúdka alebo po kombinovaných operáciách v súlade so súčasnými odporúčaniami. Diskutujú manažment pacientiek po bariatrickej chirurgii v predgestačnom období a počas tehotenstva.
