The ám of the work was to determine the relation of enuresis to obstruction disorder of breathing during sleep in children. Adenotonsillar hypertrophy is the most frequent caise of obstruction disorders in sleep of children. Tonsillectomy (TE) aid adenotomy (AT) háve been performed at the ORL Clinic of Medicd Faculty, Comenius University in 2003 in 1294 children, 95 of them (7.34%) having snoring aid sleep apneaae indications to the operation. Enuresis was diagnosed in čase history of 32 children. Post-operation evduation was made in 18 children at the age of 3-10 yea-s, who suffered from enuresis aid obstruction breathing disorders during sleep. The symptoms of obstruction of respiratory pathways disa?pea*ed in ál 18 children, 16 children ceased to be ďfected by enuresis aid enuresis persisted in two of them. The páper presents possible pathogenic factors of enuresis in obstruction disorders of breathing in children. A timely removd of adenotonsillar hypertrophy may solve unpleasait enuresis in some children easily aid rapidly.
