Overview
The author describes the course of habilitation in dental medicine where the degrees were awarded to E-Nessl and M. Baštýř 125 years ago. The contribution refers to pertinent records from the meetings of a board of professors, deposited in the Charles University Archive. These two associate professors significantly contributed to the development of dental medicine, the branch which was lectured in Prague since 1828.
