Anchoring of removable dentures by the telescopic and conus system is a matterof routine in some neighbouring countries but in our country this system is practically unknownand is not used. The author describes briefly the theoretical principles of construction of conusand telescopic crowns, evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of this anchoring systemand outlines indications and contraindications. He demonstrates one clinical solution ina patient with a different biological factor of abutment teeth.
