Overview
Varicocele is the most common cause of male infertility, which can be repaired surgically. Dilated and varicose changes of the venous pampiniform plexus of the testis cause varicocele. Valvular insufficiency of the spermatic veins allows regurgitation of blood which causes damage to the testicular function by increasing the intrascrotal temperature. The authors observe the effect and significance of microsurgical varicocelectomy on spermiogram.
Key words:
varicocele, spermiogram, infertility
