Approach to Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy in Coexisting Renal Angiomyolipoma

Overview
Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) in the setting of coexisting AML presents a rare surgical challenge. Such cases are associated with an increased risk of bleeding especially if access is obtained through the tumor. In this report of three cases, PCNL was performed in coexisting AML with no apparent operative or post-operative complications, including bleeding, or need for blood transfusion.
