The authors draw attention to a very rare complication of treatment of chronic renal failure -the development of priapism. Unless this complications is immediately successfully treated,fibrosis of the corpora cavernosa of the penis develops which leads to severe erectile dysfunction.This may cause unnecessary deterioration of the quality of the patient’s life.
