Overview

Disorders of nutrition are frequent in old age. The reasons of that are multifactorial. Malnutrition and sarcopenia are limited for survival of old and institutionalised diseased patients. Well-timed diagnostics and nutritional support improve outcomes of geriatric patients. Problems of nutrition and physical efficiency are necessary to evaluate in daily work with these patients.
