The authors describe the contemporary decision taking and approach to treatment of anorexia nervosa inchildren and adolescents, decision between out-patient and hospital treatment. In the evaluation they take intoconsideration clinical experience with therapy of serious cases of anorectic patients in hospital. In the part focusedon pharmacotherapy they mention contemporary trends recorded from the literature and at the same time theypresent a list of drugs used for treatment of patients in 2001 at the Paediatric Psychiatric Clinic.
