The second part the submitted publication focuses on the role of apoptosis in the etiopathogenesis of someneurodegenerative disorders such as spinal muscular atrophy, mitochondrial encephalomyopathies, neuronalceroid lipofuscinosis, ataxia teleangiectasia, Huntington’s disease. Attention is also paid to relations betweenapoptosis and epilepsy, Down’s syndrome and some other disorders.
