In 1990 - 1999 at the Clinic of Paediatric Surgery in PragueMotol 5 patients with congenital oesophageal stenosiswere treated. In all patients dilatations of the stenosis were indicated. In one case bougies were used, in theremainder balloon dilatation under skiascopic control. Of these patients one was operated, in the remainderrepeated dilatations were the definite solution.
