The article describes four cases of metastatic tumours in the orofacial region. Inthree cases the mandible and in one case the maxilla have been affected. In one case the originof metastatic tumour was the breast cancer, in the other three cases Grawitz’s cancers of thekidneys were found as the primary origin. The authors emphasise that the metastatic tumoursof the jaws might be the first sign of a generalised cancer.
