Overview
Regular physioterapy and individual motoric activities for adult people with a autism spectrum disorders (ASD) contribute to improving their physical fitness, fine motorics and activities of daily living. The object of the research was to assess the level of physical fitness, fine motorics and activities of daily living before and after seven months of ongoing physiotherapy in adults with diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders living in the sheltered housing of St. Michael in Brno. These issues are research based on functional diagnostics tests, functional test of hand by Masný and test of activities of daily living by Barthel. The author works with clients with ASD using structured learning method.
