Overview
Dementia is very important health, social and economic burden and also very common subjective fear of older persons. Therefore the Alzheimer’s disease and other causes of dementia have become an European priority. Current drugs for Alzheimer’s disease improve some symptoms of dementia. We provide overview of current treatment options and some possible research paths towards identifying disease-modigying therapies.
