Overview
Molecular diagnostics is essential for the diagnosis of hereditary disorders. In this review we summarize the current knowledge of molecular pathogenesis, diagnostic and screening procedures and their implications for prognosis and treatment of patients with hereditary colon cancer and hereditary pancreatitis.
