Overview

The article brings to the reader’s attention rare non-infectious causes of aseptic meningitis, e.g.,Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome, Behçet syndrome, neurosarcoidosis, Mollaret meningitis and drugand chemical induced. The review is supplemented by a case report of uveomeningitis that closelyapproximates the presentation of Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome. Subjective symptoms, fever, cerebrospinalfluid analysisand fundus examination disappearedafter corticotherapy.The patient recoveredwithout any vision deficit and remained without recurrence for two years.
