Overview
It is necessary to derive all moral philosophical discussions dealing with medicine from themost important phenomena in this field: the clinical encounter between the physician and hispatient. The good is defined here in the teleological classical Aristotelic sense, in terms of theaim of the activity for which that activity exists. The good of the patient is thoroughly discussedas well.
Key words:
philosophy of medicine - teleological ethnics - good - Aristoteles - Edmund Pellegrino.
