In 1966-1999 unilateral nephrectomy (Nx) was performed in 95 live donors for transplantationto relatives or friends. The mean age was 48.7 ± 7.8 years (26-69) and the mean follow-up periodwas 7.1 ± 7.5 years (2 months-31 years).
