Overview
The authors summarise the last knowledge of epidermolysis bullosa congenita (EB). The Centre for EB patients based on cooperation of the multidisciplinary group of specialists has been founded by The Department of Paediatric Dermatology in Brno. In the last ten years the center diagnosed 87 EB patients (DEB 46%, SEB 44%, JEB 10%). In May 2004 the DebRA (Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association) ČR (www.debra-cz.org) has been founded. DebRA Czech Republic is a member of DebRA International.
