The authors present a case-history of a sexual delinquent with repeated relapses. They drawattention to pitfalls or ineffectiveness of hitherto provided protective sexuological treatment. Theauthors discuss also the quality of the patient’s life and of his environment. They advocate implementation of alternative methods, in particular protective detention.
