Overview
Eight groups of girls (students of cosmetics school, school for health workers, high school andmedical faculty, models, dancers, figure skaters and top gymnasts) were followed up for riskfactors of anorexia nervosa and bulimia. The standardized EAT questionnaire and a special questionnaire for general attitudes were used.In 12% of the respondents, results representing a potential risk for development of these eatingdisorders were found. In spite of the fact that groups were not entirely homogeneous, top gymnasts and figure skaters were revealed as the most risky groups, followed by models, dancers andstudents of the cosmetics school.
