Overview
Congenital heart defects are among the most common causes of death in newborns in all weight categories. We define a low birth weight newborn as a newborn with a birth weight below 2500 g, it can be a full-term hypotrophic newborn or a premature newborn, regardless of its trophic status. This article addresses the care management of newborns and also presents the results of our hospital in this field.
