58-year-old woman was admitted to the ICU due to acute respiratory failure caused by bronchopneumonia. Lung injury fulfilled ARDS criteria.After patient stabilization the haematologic malignity (multiple myeloma) was diagnosed. The presented case report is the contribution to the discussionof intensive care problems in patients with haematologic malignity.
