Overview

Warfarin-induced skin necrosis is a rare complication of oral anticoagulation therapy affecting skin and soft tissue. In the article clinical course of a patient who developed warfarin-induced skin necrosis is described and clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of this condition are discussed. To our best knowledge this is the first case of warfarin-induced skin necrosis described in the Czech Republic.
