Overview
Venous diseases occur in 10–60% population according to statistical data. Risk factors for development of varices include e. g. life style, static load, sedentary occupation, lack of physical activity, obesity, gravidity etc. Knowledge on etiopathogenesis of varices and basic characteristics of a clinical picture enable better understanding of treatment approaches.
